Discover Kinusaiga, the Japanese art of creating beautiful pictures with fabric—no sewing required! Our Kinusaiga Starter Kit includes everything you need to explore this relaxing, hands-on craft and create your own framed fabric artwork from start to finish.
Designed with beginners in mind, the kit guides you through the process of placing fabric over a pattern and gently tucking it into grooves in the foam board. Work section by section, watch your design come to life, then place your finished piece into the included wooden frame.

How It Works
Choose your design and prepare the pattern, create shallow grooves along the pattern lines, then peel the adhesive backing one section at a time. Add your fabric and gently tuck the edges into the grooves using the included tool. Continue section by section, finish the outer edges, and place your completed artwork into the wooden frame.
No sewing. No previous experience. Just fabric + creativity.

About Kinusaiga
Kinusaiga is a Japanese fabric art developed in the 1980s by artist Maeno Setsu, inspired by the beauty of traditional kimono silks. Instead of sewing pieces together, fabric is carefully tucked into grooves to create colorful, textured pictures. Modern Kinusaiga often uses cotton fabrics and foam boards, making this beautiful technique approachable for makers of all experience levels.
