Want to learn how to use the tufting gun to create amazing textile art? Join us for an in-person tufting workshop at our Tufting.co studio in Old Town Alexandria, VA!
This hands-on class is designed for beginners and will introduce you to the basics of operating a tufting gun. After a brief instructional session, the majority of the workshop will be dedicated to tracing your design onto the tufting fabric and bringing it to life with tufting.
You’ll work on a 12 x 12-inch piece, using a frame that accommodates this size. Participants will be using a cut pile tufting machines. Yarn, fabric, and glue are included in the cost of the workshop.

A: For our tufting workshop, we provide all the necessary materials and tools, including a tufting frame, yarn, tufting guns, and backing fabric. You don't need to bring anything except your creativity and enthusiasm!

Each tufting class session typically lasts around 2 to 3 hours. This time includes instruction, hands-on tufting, and finishing touches on your project.

After you finish tufting your masterpiece, we apply a special glue to seal your work, and it needs at least 48 hours to dry. Once it’s ready, we’ll add the finishing touches and ship your unique creation straight to your doorstep—on us! This way, you’ll get a beautifully completed piece.
